Region’s largest brewer outsources their IT infrastructure services to the Technology Associates Group across East Africa.

East African Breweries is East Africa's largest brewery Group and has the largest share of the beer industry in the region. With the integration of the operations acquired through acquisition, notably that of UDV, EABL’s product range, address a significant portion of the beverage, drinks and spirits consumer market. This has a natural impact on IT with the management of multiple systems handling production, sales and distribution, consumption analysis to name a few of the myriad of challenges undertaken by EABL’s IT team to consistently support the organizations delivery of exceptional growth and share-value performance.

To facilitate better control of the services and availability of systems, the group desired a strong IT solutions partner to administer regional services delivery across five locations in Uganda and Kenya. Besides, they needed assurance of their provider’s proven capacity of managing a large infrastructure such as theirs, and carry out support for their predominantly large HP/IBM/Microsoft IT setup, comprising of numerous business critical Servers, over a thousand desktops & notebooks and printer & power peripherals.
